For over 30 years now, Professional Cattle Consultants (PCC) has been providing the performance benchmarking data that cattle feeding industry relies on to track it's progress, forecast it's future, and maxize feeding profitability. Managing data for the beef industry is all that we do. It is our only focus.
PCC makes you and your operation more competitive. PCC can help you discover where your operation excels and more importantly, where there is room for improvement. Stay ahead of the curve with PCC.
Interfaces with the major feedyard accounting interfaces make it easy to submit data to PCC and only takes around 1 hour each month.
PCC subscribers recieve two publications each month. The CattleGram is available around the 7th of each month and includes an early projection of USDA's Cattle-On-Feed report, actual PCC on-feed, placement and marketing data, projected vs actual marketings by region and nationally, and our current market outlook.
The Newsletter which comes out about 10 days later is a 16 page publication with an at-a-glance view of national feeding performance data, feed ingredient costs, industry average profitability, detailed weight breakdowns on feedlot placements, and regional feeding performance data. In addition to this vital data, the report opens with out current market outlook, and includes a written analysis of key trends we find from mining the data.
Your data comes back to you in a pair of Comparative Analyis report that summarizes your yard's performance compared to regional or state data or even compared to similar sized yards if you wish.
All of this is included in PCC's base subscription package. An optional report that has been a hit with current PCC subscribers is the new ProfitMark report. It is sometimes difficult to put each month's closeout performance in perspective relative to historical performance in your yard, much less relative to regional history. ProfitMark makes this an easy task by taking each report item and presenting it in an interactive graph using Microsoft Excel's pivot charts and tables. This makes it possible for you to customize the presentation to the time frame and type of cattle you need to analyze.
